Westminster's first desire is that each member would understand the difference between witnessing & evangelizing and be faithful in both. Indeed, we should ever be wonderstruck by the privilege that is ours to "proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (I Pt. 2.9). Thus, Westminster stresses that "mission" begins in our own relationships and communities.
Westminster partners with a variety of mission efforts - both home and abroad - in the interest of bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to those who have never heard it and of planting new churches in areas where there are few to none. We joyfully support these missions financially and relationally, and devote each month to focusing upon a particular "Mission of the Month" as we receive updates and pray for their faithful progress.
